Energy transition: New Caledonia shares its successes with Papua New Guinea

Published on

Faced with similar geographical and logistical challenges, the Pacific island states are joining forces to tackle the climate emergency.

Whilst Papua New Guinea has set itself the target of achieving 100 per cent renewable energy by 2050, a delegation has come to study New Caledonia’s achievements first-hand.

It is a concrete example of regional cooperation aimed at building resilient and sustainable energy models.
