Career
Quiterie Pincent is Executive Director of Resource Mobilization, Partnerships, and Communications at Agence Française de Développement (AFD). She leads the executive division responsible for resource mobilization, strategic partnerships, institutional communications, and stakeholder engagement in support of AFD’s mandate.
Previously, she served as Deputy Executive Director of the Sustainable Development Solutions Division. From 2022 to 2025, she headed AFD’s office in Morocco after serving as Country Director in Cuba beginning in 2020. She also served as Deputy Director for Eastern Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, following her role as Head of Strategy and Operations for the Middle East within the Mediterranean Department.
Pincent has worked in international development for more than 25 years. She began her career at the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, where she worked in the department responsible for international cooperation. She later served as Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation Attaché for the Palestinian Territories at the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem.
She joined AFD Group in 2007 and has since held a series of strategic and operational positions covering social sectors, civil society, the Mediterranean, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, the Caribbean, and North Africa.
A graduate of Sciences Po, Pincent also holds a postgraduate degree (DESS, equivalent to a master's degree) in political anthropology from Paris VIII University.
