Career
Laurence Breton-Moyet is Executive Director of Campus Group AFD. She leads the entity responsible for skills development, training, and knowledge creation and sharing, supporting AFD Group staff and partners in advancing sustainable development and the transitions.
From 2021 to 2026, she served as Chief Executive Officer of the European Climate Foundation (ECF), where she led the organization’s strategy and transformation alongside its president, Laurence Tubiana, before rejoining AFD, which she first joined in 2004.
During her previous career at AFD, she held a series of leadership positions in France and abroad, including as head of the regional office for Mauritius and Seychelles, Director of the Sustainable Development Department, and Executive Director for Operations and Strategy, Partnerships, and Communication.
Before joining AFD, she held various positions at the World Bank, Lyonnaise des Eaux, and Électricité de France (EDF), where she developed expertise in sustainable development, energy, and infrastructure finance.
Laurence Breton-Moyet graduated as an engineer from École nationale des ponts et chaussées, specializing in public economics. She also holds a Specialized Master’s degree in Media, Communication and New Technologies from ESCP Business School.

Based in Marseille and Paris, Campus Group AFD brings together AFD Group’s internal and external learning programs. It serves as a laboratory for educational innovation, designing, testing, and deploying, with partners, innovative learning formats that strengthen the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies of those working to drive the transition toward a more sustainable world.
